They do this every now and then when they get stock that isn't selling so well 🙂 last year I picked up 4 boxes of the Mirka sheets for a fraction of what they usually sell for

Hi all, just a thumbs up - Yandles have 150mm Mirka abrasives on offer. 240 grit basecoat and 800 grit gold at 100 disks for £10. These are normally about £8 for 10 disks. No other grit sizes on offer.

I almost forgot about this post - ordered 100 of each - unbelievable value- thanks for sharing.👍🙏

Ok so today I received my Mirka 800 grit and my 240 grit . I’ve used their sheet sandpaper but not ghe discs . I’m a little confused ( not difficult these days) the 800 I expected to be really rough and the 240 fine . It’s the other way round. Have I lost the plot or do Mirka,s grade their discs different to other makes or have mine been misprinted..

I always think about it as the number of grains in a square inch (probably not the case but it serves the purpose), so the more grains the smaller they need to be. so the higher number is the finer the grain.

What's the Difference Between Sandpaper Grit and Sandpaper Grade?

Grit refers to the specific size of the abrasive grain (40, 80, 120 etc.), whereas grade is a broader term that covers a range of grits. For example, medium grade can include grit sizes between 80 and 100.
