Sorry Chaps, I should have said it is a combi - dont know about condensing, alhough it does have a drip pipe coming out from it to the drain.
The other point is that I am mid seventies, so I am not taking bets on whether it expires before I do.........
 
Esp older stone houses. Chalk and cheese to a modern block and plasterboard house!
It depends on which side you put the insulation ! If you stick on the inside of those stone walls then you've defeated the object....DAMHIKT.

Because the idea of a high thermal mass building is to use it effectively as a heat store. But if you stick 4" of Kingspan in a studwall partition that you've then fixed to the inside of that stonewall then your thermal mass is no longer helping.
