    New, incompetent, advice-needy

I would usually recommend scribing internal mitres for skirting, but given its Oak, a Bullnose and at 135 degrees getting a clean finish could be very tricky. If your using a mitre saw you can do test cuts on scrap to make sure the saw is set up correctly, being plumb might be the most...

Welcome to the forum, in theory each internal angle should be 135 degrees so divided by 2 gives you cuts of 67.5 degrees, but my feeling is each will be slightly different. Maybe this will help. Cheers Peter

I am pleased to say Bruce Keen the Managing Director will continue with his woodworking health and safety training under a new business. Andy...

Exciting News! The Melbourne Tool Company has landed

Not something I usually do but each maker sets up their own kit to their own liking, but as planes get used and edges get nicked on the bench it's something that usually ends up needing doing at some point. Cheers Peter

Woodworking & craft shows and events…

We have exhibited at Makers Central three times, the amount of woodworking has diminished each exhibition. Went to have a look last year to see if we were missing out but decided its not for us and it looks like quite a few of other woodworkers have come to the same conclusion looking at the...

Side hung metal drawer runners are designed to carry high loads, more than underslung. Take a look at the specs first. Cheers Peter

Looking to buy a replacement router for a UKJ lift without a NVR switch?

Hi @dvddvd The Muscle Chuck 2E fits the Dewalt 625 and Elu/Trend equivalents, it will extend the length by around 15mm ideal when used with the JessEm Prestige Lift. How much height loss is there on the UJK? https://woodworkersworkshop.co.uk/jessem-rout-r-lift-prestige-metric/ Cheers Peter
