Withdrawn Festool Kapex KS120 REB 240V

Decided I'm going to keep the saw and try and make some room for it.

This dust hose for drill press works better than I expected, I had to use some blue tape to make the mount fit the pillar even when using the remixed file. File: https://www.printables.com/model/820914-flexible-hose-for-dust-extraction

Withdrawn Festool Kapex KS120 REB 240V

This saw is phenomenal, been super reliable and versatile but I need to make some room in the workshop so sadly this must go. Purchased 23/02/2023 so just over a year old, in great condition, only been used for light hobby work. Comes with hold down clamp, manual and Bevel SM-KS. £950...

Latest thing you have printed / machined / cut

This was quite a fun little project, small laser cut stand for some fake plants to add a bit of interest to my floating console. Made from various scraps of acrylic, including some galaxy acrylic I found.

Just finished building a floating media console, two main purposes, one to hide plugs and cables and media player and the other somewhere for my sound bar to sit. Threw in a couple of new (to me) techniques in this build. Stopped dados with shoulders, they turned out orite, couple of the...

Latest thing you have printed / machined / cut

Laser cut some clear acrylic trays for my recent coffee station, acrylic is not very forgiving, got the thickness slightly wrong and cracked/snapped a few bits trying to force them together ha, but they are holding with no glue so far. Did plan on using superglue but ran out. No matter where I...

Post a photo of the last thing you made

Last year I moved my coffee set up from my kitchen to my dining room to give me more room in the kitchen. The problem with this was that my dining room table was too low for a comfortable working height, so I purchased some risers, which have worked fine but are pretty ugly. So I finally got...

Collection of 3d printing files relevant for woodworking

I've been using this one for a coffee accessory wall: https://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/threads/latest-thing-you-have-printed-machined-cut.143272/post-1723253 It's pretty good, although sometimes a bit confusing trying to figure out what parts you need exactly.

I need to rip some long board down to width for my current project, recently rearranged my workshop so I can use my workbench as an outfeed table, however infeed is still a bit iffy with long boards. So I knocked together a quick infeed support using some scraps (hence the odd cut out at the...

Collection of 3d printing files relevant for woodworking

Not my file but thought I'd share it as I found it super useful. I'm a big fan of modular systems, gridfinity being one of them. Problem is unelss I design my storage for it I often end up with odd sizes that don't fit into gridfinity units. Someone has created a fusion 350 file to...

This is awesome, something I'd love to give leather craft a try some day.

    Flooring options for existing workshop

Wow thanks all for the awesome replies and suggestions. If I was to go all in I think I'd have to hire a container of some sorts, but I think that may end up being too expensive overall. I imagine flooring tiles could be good if you get the correct ones, mine were fairly cheap ones from Amazon...

    Flooring options for existing workshop

Do you have the OSB lying directly on top of the concrete? For some reason I had it in my mind I'd need to lay it on studs, not sure where I got that from though. If it can lay flat on the concrete, assuming I fill the worst gaps, then put down a vapour barrier, this might be way I go.

    Flooring options for existing workshop

I'd love to be able to do that, but I can't think of anyway or anywhere to store the machinery. The only access to the garden is through a single narrow doorway. It might be possible if I dismantle my table saw, I'd have to take some measurements.

    Flooring options for existing workshop

I'm looking to renovate my workshop this year, one of the things I want to improve is the flooring. My workshop is based in my garage and it has an uneven concrete floor, I've previously been using some padded flooring tiles which are fine until I need to more things around, they don't play...

    Think Kerf Riving Knife

I have an Axminster table saw, current blade and riving knife are 3.2mm I believe.

    Think Kerf Riving Knife

Hey, I have a set of Axminister thin kerf blades, with a width of 2.1mm, however these are too thin for my current riving knife. Can anyone recommend anywhere to get a thin riving knife from, or alternatively is it possible to make one yourself? Cheers.

Post a photo of the last thing you turned

I wanted to have a go at turning something to a specific size, so thought a stand for one of my amazon devices would be fun. Not the most practial and for the next one I'll make it lower profile, but you know what it fit's so I'm chuffed.

Latest thing you have printed / machined / cut

Printed myself a multiboard, really cool system loads of accessories and mounting options, I mounted it on some left over birch ply and then used a french cleat to mount that to the wall. Got a few more holders to add to it, but got the main things on there.
